How to Fix a Drug Scandal: Miniseries | Rotten Tomatoes (1) Alissa Wilkinson Vox The choice to frame the series around Farak's case, rather than Dookhan's, feels structurally shaky... Yet Carr's thoroughness is unassailable. Rated: 3/5 Apr 3, 2020 Full Review How to Fix a Drug Scandal: Miniseries | Rotten Tomatoes (2) John Anderson Wall Street Journal What may catch a viewer off guard is how gripping the story is and how it flies by. Apr 2, 2020 Full Review How to Fix a Drug Scandal: Miniseries | Rotten Tomatoes (3) Brian Tallerico RogerEbert.com There's a human element missing from this entire production. Rated: 1.5/4 Apr 2, 2020 Full Review How to Fix a Drug Scandal: Miniseries | Rotten Tomatoes (4) Chauncey K. Robinson People's World This is not a flashy series with the quick jump cuts and comedic irony interlaced within the story that you sometimes find when documentaries try to appeal to mainstream audiences, and that's okay. Rated: B Apr 10, 2020 Full Review How to Fix a Drug Scandal: Miniseries | Rotten Tomatoes (5) Alci Rengifo Entertainment Voice Like a John Grisham thriller but more visceral because it's true, "How to Fix a Drug Scandal" races by with its combination of engaging angles. Apr 3, 2020 Full Review How to Fix a Drug Scandal: Miniseries | Rotten Tomatoes (6) Joel Keller Decider Veers dangerously close to becoming cheesy and artificial. But the results of Farak and Dookhan's actions is so fascinating, that we're very interested in watching this until the end. Apr 3, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews

Jesse To anyone who gave this a low rating because "who cares if the chemist committed fraud we all know it was drugs anyway!" I completely disagree. This was one of the best documentaries I have ever seen. This resolution was absolutely groundbreaking and broke records and without giving away spoilers it made me sad and happy at the same time. Absolutely fantastic. The point I want to make for the people who just don't seem to get what these defense attorneys are doing is that you really need to read the bill of rights (you know, that document that allows you to speak your opinions freely online.) Article the eighth... In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defence.Do you really not see the flaw in arguing that because a chemist committed fraud "who cares, it was drugs anyway." That chemist is a key witness, the person who verifies that what was collected were drugs. My wife took a powered supplement with her to work that was completely legal on a daily basis and I told her she needed to stop BECAUSE OF SITUATIONS LIKE THIS! Do you mean to tell me that if you got busted because you were carrying a supplement that is completely legal and happens to be in powder form you would trust a woman who is high on meth and LSD to accurately determine by "taste test" whether your junk is real? It's funny how people absolutely take for granted everything in the bill of rights until they are the ones caught up in the justice system. If even 0.1% of those people were really innocent then it was WORTH the price of freeing those who committed the crime. Why? Because our justice system is built in such a way that when you are accused of a crime there is a concrete process in a place built and handled with an iron fist. Prosecutors have a process that relies on trust and honor and if you allow that to slide even once then pretty soon we might as well just have a kangaroo court. I really can't fathom anyone giving this less than five stars unless you failed to watch it to the outcome in which case the loss is on you because the ending is extremely riveting in both a positive and negative way. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/06/23 Full Review Audience Member I don't know if I watched it on a night I wasn't feeling well or if this show really is as dull as lead. All I know is that I began daydreaming halfway through episode one, and that's never a good sign. The one thing I do remember and was moved by was all those men having to go back to prison who thought they were out for good. When the judge created a start date for one of these chemists' crimes, all those who had cases before that date then found themselves back in prison. (They had been released as the crimes made their convictions invalid, but only temporarily.) That seemed insanely harsh and cruel, especially since these were non violent drug crimes. But that's all I remember. The pacing was odd and the story was way complicated, but consider the source. I wasn't feeling great, so maybe I'll try it again sometime.
